Restaurant "Es Boldado" Cala d'Hort

When you are looking for the real Ibiza experience, this is where
to find it. Eat as the Ibicencans have for centuries past, the
freshest of fish, shellfish and paellas in a simple fisherman-style
restaurant -
with one of the most impressive views imaginable.

You are looking out over the fantastically blue sea and the mysterious
island of Es Vedra. A succulent, freshly grilled lobster, previously
selected from the well-stocked aquarium, is on your plate and
a bottle of wine in the cooler.

What more can you desire? Believe us, this is it - the real Ibiza.

Run by a young Ibicenco family, the dining room has an amazing
view of the sea and, is decorated appropriately in marine style:
fishing nets, sea memorabilia, shells, wooden tables and a genuine
old open chimney for warming the winter nights, all surrounded
by windows. Open terraces share the same view (one with sun loungers)
and a direct access takes you down to the beach of Cala d'Hort.

For those cruising the island on a boat, there is a mooring with
a path leading up to Es Boldadó

The service is formal and correct, the atmosphere familiar and
relaxed. The menu is selective, with the fairly priced, local
catch prepared in typically Ibicencan style, casseroled or freshly
grilled; the prepared to order paellas are a great favourite with
the 'locals'. There's also a good selection of salads and a discerning
choice of meat dishes. The aquarium is amply filled with Lobsters
and shellfish ready for your selection.

Make a dream come true.

And to make the memory more lasting, enjoy the rest of the day
relaxing in one of the sun loungers outside on the terrace.

Sa Tasca

The Restaurant Sa Tasca was founded in 1975 by Vicente Serra
Mari. Originally located in a rustical finca in the village of
San Agustín, the restaurant moved to a new location 600m
from the old site, in September of 1999. The building is of typical
Ibicencan architecture, and offers marvellous views of the sea
and countryside to enhance the enjoyment of your meal and our
extensive wine cellar.

Within this family atmosphere we have conserved many traditional
gastronomic customs, such as silver service waiting, flambées,
meats cooked slowly in a wood oven and many and varied international
dishes, prepared by our excellent and professional kitchen, headed
by Alfonso, who has offered his services to the restaurant for
the last 17 years.

Over the last decades, the Restaurant Sa Tasca has acquired an
enviable reputation amongst gourmets and famous visitors to the
island. On warm summer days, you can sit outside on our shady
terrace, and in winter, in the cosy and comfortable interior dining
rooms. Enjoy!

Rincon de Pepe - San Antonio

In the pedestrian area just off the 'square of the fountains',
this Restaurant / Tapas bar is the place to go to indulge in authentic
tasty Spanish food. Take a morning shopping break and join the
locals for a coffee, drink and tapas.

There's an endless variety of hot and cold tapas on display.
Fish, meat, poultry, veg, eggs and they all receive the magic
touch of a master chef, who transforms them into some of the tastiest
tapas in the Med.

After a hard day on the beach(!), drop by and quench your thirst
at a paveside table, watch the early evening bustle and try a
tasty tempter of that gorgeous food - you'll probably want to
come back later for a full evening meal.

The main course includes various soups and salads, grilled sole
or prawns, and steamed mussels (delicious). Grilled steaks, chops
and kebabs.

To finish, try Ibicenco favourites Flaó, or Greixonera,
(drizzled with a Cointreau - fabulous).

Rincon de Pepe is a great place for food at any time of the day,
from Easter through to the beginning of November.
